Captain Rick is no stranger to Giant Bluefin Tuna fishing, making the majority of his income for 20 years pursuing these beasts from Pt. Pleasant New Jersey, to Tignish P.E.I.. Now a days we concentrate on medium size fish between 47 and 74 inches (up to 200 lbs) but there are still many fish in the “giant” range up to 1,000 lbs ! If we do get lucky enough to connect with a giant, 25% of the sale of the fish is returned to the charter

Summer and fall it’s Bluefin Tuna time. The later in the season the better as the fish feed up to migrate to their winter feeding grounds. The last few years have seen record numbers of medium size fish and usually we have no problem putting one or two of these powerhouses in the boat. In fact many of our tuna trips are combined with ground fish trips for Cod and Haddock for double the excitement.
